Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup quality semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Measure out your chocolate chips and roasted peanuts, and lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prepare for cluster shaping.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Gently melt the chocolate chips with butter or coconut oil using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring frequently until smooth and glossy.
  3. Mix in Peanuts: Stir the roasted peanuts into the melted chocolate, making sure every nut is well coated for even flavor and texture.
  4. Form Clusters: Spoon small mounds of the chocolate-peanut mixture onto the lined baking sheet, shaping each cluster with the back of the spoon for consistent sizes.
  5. Chill Until Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the clusters solidify and are ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Use tempered chocolate for extra shine and snap.
  • Don’t skip chilling; refrigeration helps clusters hold their shape and enhances texture.
  • If using raw peanuts, roast them fresh for better flavor and crunch.
  • For uniform cluster sizes, use a mini ice cream scoop or spoon.
  • Store clusters in layers separated with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
