  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Broth Base: Sauté diced onion, garlic, carrots, and celery in a large pot over medium heat until softened and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. This step builds the savory foundation of the soup.
  2. Add Chicken and Broth: Add the chicken pieces to the pot and pour in the chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and tender, around 20-25 minutes.
  3. Remove and Shred the Chicken: Carefully remove the chicken from the pot and shred it into bite-sized pieces using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the broth.
