Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, add minced garlic, then cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Allow to cool, then shred or dice into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Boil lasagna noodles according to package instructions unless using no-boil noodles. Drain and toss with a little olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  3. Mix the Cheese Filling: In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped fresh parsley, Italian seasoning, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir until well blended to create a creamy, seasoned filling.
  4. Layer the Lasagna: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Add a layer of noodles, then an even layer of shredded chicken, dollops of the ricotta mixture, more Alfredo sauce, and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat layering until ingredients are finished, ending with a cheese layer on top.
  5. Bake to Perfection: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes. Remove foil during the last 10 minutes to allow the cheese to bubble and turn golden brown.
  6. Rest and Serve: Allow the lasagna to rest for 10-15 minutes after baking to set before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil, and serve with your preferred sides.
