Ingredients

Scale

Proteins and Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 4 cups cauliflower florets (bite-sized)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce

Vegetables and Aromatics

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced finely
  • 2 medium carrots, diced finely

Optional Toppings

  • Blue cheese or ranch dressing (to taste)
  • Chopped green onions or fresh parsley (for garnish)

Seasonings

  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Wash and chop the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Dice the celery and carrots finely for even cooking. Mince the garlic and onions to release their aroma during cooking.
  2. Cook the turkey: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper while cooking.
  3. Sauté veggies and aromatics: Add the minced onions, garlic, diced celery, and carrots to the skillet with the turkey. Cook until the vegetables soften and onions become translucent, stirring frequently for even cooking.
  4. Add cauliflower and buffalo sauce: Toss in the cauliflower florets, stirring to combine. Pour in the buffalo sauce and mix thoroughly so all ingredients are evenly coated with spicy flavor.
  5. Simmer and finish: Cover the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes until the cauliflower is tender but still crisp. Adjust seasoning to taste and remove from heat.

Notes

  • Use fresh, quality buffalo sauce for the best flavor.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan to allow ingredients to brown instead of steam.
  • Adjust heat by mixing buffalo sauce with butter or honey if milder spice is desired.
  • Ensure the ground turkey is cooked thoroughly for safety and ideal texture.
  • Cut cauliflower florets uniformly for even cooking and better presentation.
